Niveda Thomas is an Indian actress who appears in films and television series in Malayalam and Tamil. She is well known for her performance in Veruthe Oru Bharya, for which she received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. She first appeared in the 2003 film called Uthara. After that, she got the role to act as Jayaram’s daughter in Veruthe Oru Bharya, where her performance was well appreciated. The film was a commercial success as well. Lately, she has signed a few Tamil and Malayalam films. Her latest Malayalam project is Chaappa Kurish, which received good reviews. Her upcoming Tamil film, Poraali directed by Samuthirakani, features her as Tamizhselvi, a petrol bunk employee. She had previously collaborated with Samuthirakani in the drama series Arasi.
